Scientist-turned-filmmaker Dr.\nRandy Olson is a fan of Al Gore\u2019s global warming movie, but asks, \u201cWhere are\nall the scientists?\u201d He sets out to make his own documentary about global\nwarming featuring scientists, but the only backers he can find are a fabulously\nflaky couple who top their list of people they want him to interview with Tom\nCruise (not a scientist but a Scientiologist \u2013 \u201cmost people don\u2019t know the\ndifference\u201d) and Kate Winslett (\u201cshe does a good British accent which makes her\nvery believable\u201d). They also give him a cameraman who is a global warming\nskeptic and argues with the climate scientists they interview. Through a series\nof interviews and an eventual road trip to New Orleans the movie delves to new\ndepths in an effort to understand the confusion around global warming, which\nmay be the most serious problem to ever confront humanity.
