  <title><![CDATA[Jaymie Forrest Receives Accolades for Being an Exceptional Supply Chain Executive]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p><strong></strong>Jaymie Forrest, managing director of the Georgia Tech
Supply Chain &amp; Logistics Institute (SCL), was selected as a finalist for
the Supply Chain Professional of the Year presented by the Metro Atlanta
Chamber.&nbsp; Forrest was recognized at an
awards luncheon on February 7 during the 2012 Modex tradeshow. </p>



<p>Forrest was also recently selected by the <em>Supply &amp; Demand Chain Executive </em>as
one of the 2012 Practitioner Pros to Know.&nbsp;
This award recognizes exceptional supply chain executives at
manufacturing and non-manufacturing enterprises who are leading initiatives to
help prepare their companies' supply chains for significant challenges ahead. </p>

<p>Forrest has over twenty years of experience in supply
chain management services and solutions as a consultant, technology executive,
and as an educator. She is responsible for strategic planning and development
of industry outreach, research, and leadership initiatives in support of
expanding SCL's global mission.</p>]]></body>
