The paper, titled \u201cA Real Options Framework to Evaluate Investments in Toll Road Projects Delivered Under the Two-Phase Development Strategy\u201d has been chosen as a Highly Commended Award Winner at the Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence 2012. The paper was co-authored by Dr. Ashuri\u2019s Ph.D. students, Mr. Jian Lu and Mr. Hamed Kashani, and was published in the journal \u003Cem\u003EBuilt Environment Project and Asset Management\u003C\/em\u003E. Dr. Ashuri serves as Director of Economics of the Sustainable Built Environment and teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in the School of Building Construction.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EEvery year Emerald invites each journal\u2019s Editorial Team to nominate what they believe has been that title\u2019s Outstanding Paper and up to three Highly Commended Papers from the previous 12 months. Dr. Ashuri\u2019s paper has been chosen as a Highly Commended Award Winner at the Literati Network Awards for Excellence 2012.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe award winning papers are chosen following consultation amongst the journal\u2019s Editorial Team, many of whom are eminent academics or managers.
