While the tenure home of the position will be in the School of City and Regional Planning, the successful candidate may be jointly appointed with the School of Public Policy if appropriate.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EWe seek candidates who will contribute to the teaching of our core courses as well as expand course offerings in economic and community development (some possibilities are workforce development, neighborhood economic development, minority and small business development, economic justice, and economic resiliency). The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active research program leading to significant contribution to the advancement of the field.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EA PhD in planning, or a related field is required. A prior professional degree or practice experience in planning may alternatively demonstrate commitment to the field.
