Florian Vollmer, MID is a designer, design leader, and educator focusing on the creation of meaningful, positive user experiences. His practice and teaching are centered around Service Design and Design Management – along with Corporate Identity, User-Centered Design, and Design Leadership.
Vollmer is Senior Vice President of Design and Principal at Info Retail, and has been with the company for the past decade. Firmly believing in the business-driving power of design, he focuses on helping clients create engaging user experiences at all brand touchpoints.
Originally from Essen, Germany, Vollmer’s holds a Master’s of Industrial Design from the Georgia Institute of Technology. His undergraduate studies led him to the Köln International School of Design, the Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee, and the University of Central England - BIAD Birmingham Institute of Art and Design.
Vollmer professional work includes a vast variety of projects, ranging from Corporate Identity Systems to Interactive Experiences to the design of Commercial Interior Environments.
