  <title><![CDATA[Sharp Announced as Assistant Vice Provost at Georgia Tech]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p><strong>Leslie Sharp</strong>, a graduate of IAC master’s and doctoral programs, has been announced as the Assistant Vice Provost for Graduate Education and Faculty Affairs for Georgia Tech.</p><p>Sharp has served as the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs and Outreach in the College of Architecture since 2008. She received an M.S. in History of Technology in 2001 and a Ph.D. in History of Technology in 2004, both offered through the <strong>School of History, Technology, and Society</strong>. Her research focuses on exploring the impact of technology on people and places within the framework of historic preservation and gender.</p>]]></body>
