When the earthquake struck, she helped to evacuate the children from her school to higher ground in anticipation of a tsunami. Once the kids were safe, Taylor realized that she had forgotten her cell phone at home and had no way to call her family. A teacher said, \u0022The tsunami is coming\u0022 and Taylor nodded in acknowledgement but because a previous tsunami earlier that week had only been a few inches high, she took off on her bike. A 30 meter high wave engulfed Ishinomaki and Taylor never made it.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ELIVE YOUR DREAM is a testament to her life in Japan and the children she taught.
