The GT RCR Compliance Policy requires students and postdocs funded by certain NSF or NIH projects to complete in-person RCR training**. This training is a condition of the award and is a GT deliverable.
Postdoctoral researchers who have been encouraged by their PI/PD to attend PHIL 6000 must register through OSP’s Training system (using the links below) before they attend a section of the course.
* NOTE: GRADUATE STUDENTS MUST REGISTER FOR PHIL 6000 THROUGH OSCAR. UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO ATTEND PHIL 6000.*
PHIL 6000JB: 9:00AM-5:00PM on Thursday August 15 and Friday August 16; Instructional Center Room 109. Register for section JB.
PHIL 6000B1: 12:05PM-1:55PM Mondays from August 19 to October 7; Architecture (East) 309. Register for section B1.
PHIL 6000B2: 12:05PM-1:55PM Fridays from August 23 to October 4; Skiles 268. Register for section B2.
** Applicable NSF projects require 4 hours of in-person training; applicable NIH projects require 8 hours. (Applicable projects are flagged with the RCR/Ethics Training requirement in the OSP Contract Information System.)
