Georgia Tech recently passed a campus-wide Open Access policy, which grants Tech authors the ability to make a copy of their article openly available in a repository such as \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.library.gatech.edu\/scdc\/smartech\u0022\u003ESMARTech\u003C\/a\u003E. In February of 2013, the White House released a memo directing Federal Agencies to require funded publications be made available Open Access.
