Sponsored by the Ramblin\u0027 Reck Club, the race is approximately a half mile long and concludes near Bobby Dodd Stadium. The race was once mandatory, but it is now only highly encouraged that all freshmen participate.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe race\u0026nbsp;is free of charge and cakes will be awarded to the winners for the male and\u0026nbsp;female races. All participants receive cupcakes.
