The \u201ccy-\u201d prefix comes from cybernetics as well as the digital connotations that come with it, and the \u201c-biotic\u201d part comes from Ingmar Reidel-Kruse\u2019s \u201cbiotic games,\u201d where this term is used to describe living creatures that aren\u2019t human or merely just tissues from an organism.
