This special edition of the publication features 25 articles focused on natural\u0026nbsp;building blocks for biomaterials design. Research materials and approaches discussed range from classic and well studied to emerging and third generation.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EIn addition to his editorial position, Barker was co-author on two featured papers. Georgia Tech Professors Krish Roy, Todd McDevitt, and M.G.
