But, every fall, Georgia Tech students begin the application process to spend their summer on Georgia Tech\u2019s Oxford Study Abroad Program.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022p4\u0022\u003EThis year, Georgia Tech staff members will also have the opportunity to apply for a role in the program that has been introducing Georgia Tech students to Europe for 20 years.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022p5\u0022\u003EThe program allows students to take Georgia Tech classes while visiting major European cities, studying in the UK and expanding their global perspective.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022p5\u0022\u003EIt also gives Georgia Tech staff, who accompany the students as group leaders, an opportunity to leave the Atlanta campus and experience new cultures, all while helping Georgia Tech students have a safe and successful experience. With a grueling schedule (the Europe portion spans eight continental European cities in 30 days) and duties ranging from confirming museum reservations to liaising with the Dean of Students regarding student disciplinary issues, the role is not for the faint at heart.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022p5\u0022\u003E\u201cThe Oxford Program is definitely not a vacation for the group leader,\u201d said Brett Hulst, area manager for Residence Life and group leader veteran. \u201cIt\u2019s more work than you can imagine some days. However, every day is an adventure and is filled with amazing sites and stories.\u201d\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022p5\u0022\u003EGroup leaders will need to commit to being on the program from May 25 \u2013 June 29, 2015.
