321321 event 1409768253 1492118512 <![CDATA[Roundtable: Mobility in Healthcare and Civic Engagement]]> This roundtable discussion will look at humanitarian development from a tech perspective, focusing on present and future uses of mobile devices such as smartphones and other mobile platforms, also known as Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), in the domains of healthcare and civic engagement in developing countries and the U.S. Bringing together French and American experts in communication infrastructure, civic engagement, and health, we will discuss key lessons learned from past successes and failures in order to provide a snapshot of current deployment and practice, and to identify challenges moving forward.

This event, part of France Atlanta 2014, is presented in partnership with Georgia Tech's College of Computing and Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts.
