{"334381":{"#nid":"334381","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Army ROTC Offers Two-Year Academic Scholarships","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EIf you\u2019re a student who has ever considered serving in the armed services, the Georgia Tech Army Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) program may have an opportunity for you.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe Army ROTC program has scholarship openings for upperclassmen and graduate students who plan to graduate in 2018 and are studying science, technology, engineering or mathematics fields.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EStudents are encouraged to apply to attend the Leader\u2019s Training Course (LTC), a 30-day paid summer program at Fort Knox, Kentucky.\u0026nbsp;Successful completion of the LTC will place students into the military science program as a Junior Army ROTC Cadet, where they can receive a two-year academic scholarship.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EStudents must have a GPA of 3.1 or higher to qualify and they must also successfully complete a standard Army Physical Fitness Test.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ETo learn more about Army ROTC and the LTC, contact Georgia Tech\u2019s Recruiting Operations officer, Michael Ward, at \u003Ca href=\u0022mailto:michael.ward@rotc.gatech.edu\u0022\u003Emichael.ward@rotc.gatech.edu\u003C\/a\u003E.
