  <title><![CDATA[Army ROTC Offers Two-Year Academic Scholarships]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>If you’re a student who has ever considered serving in the armed services, the Georgia Tech Army Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) program may have an opportunity for you.</p><p>The Army ROTC program has scholarship openings for upperclassmen and graduate students who plan to graduate in 2018 and are studying science, technology, engineering or mathematics fields.</p><p>Students are encouraged to apply to attend the Leader’s Training Course (LTC), a 30-day paid summer program at Fort Knox, Kentucky.&nbsp;Successful completion of the LTC will place students into the military science program as a Junior Army ROTC Cadet, where they can receive a two-year academic scholarship.</p><p>Students must have a GPA of 3.1 or higher to qualify and they must also successfully complete a standard Army Physical Fitness Test.</p><p>To learn more about Army ROTC and the LTC, contact Georgia Tech’s Recruiting Operations officer, Michael Ward, at <a href="mailto:michael.ward@rotc.gatech.edu">michael.ward@rotc.gatech.edu</a>.
