She states that the projected ridership for this light-rail line is well over 24,000 riders per day, taking into consideration the major campuses and businesses along the proposed rail: the CDC, Emory University, and the Atlanta Veterans Affairs Hospital are all situated along the route. Wimberley, who is MARTA\u2019s senior regional planner and project manager of the Clifton transit project, encourages public opinion on the plan. \u201cAt this point, no one has all the answers.\u201d She writes. \u201cMARTA is still gathering information and working with supporters and critics of the project. What we know for certain, however, is that this project will be successful only if it has widespread community support.
