Session Title: Algae Energy:  A Renewable, Sustainable, and Profitable Business

About the Speaker: James Winfield has several years of experience working as an engineer and project manager in environmental engineering and renewable energy production. After working in oil and gas for several years to pay for college, he made the transition onto a design team for an industrial portable water filtration system, where he maintained the position of lead designer. James then moved to Guatemala to start a socially responsible business fabricating large anaerobic bio-digesters for farmers looking to switch to more organic farming practices. From there, he moved to the United States and began working with Algae Energy Inc as a projects engineer helping to design Photo-Bio-Reactor algae cultivation and processing systems.

Who is Invited: All students, industry partners, faculty and staff are invited. No registration is required.

What: A complementary lunch served with a great speaker presenting an impactful topic.
