Fair Faculty Fellow in the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, has been elected as a fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE).\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ELu\u0027s research is at the interface of engineering and biology. She engineers BioMEMS (Bio Micro-Electro-Mechanical System) and microfluidic devices to address questions in neuroscience, cell biology, and biotechnology that are difficult to answer using conventional techniques.
