SGT is the American honor society in Aerospace Engineering. The society identifies and recognizes outstanding aerospace engineering students for their accomplishments and excellence. SGT also seeks to foster a high standard of ethics and professional practice and create a spirit of loyalty and fellowship. There are 6 university chapters in the Southeastern Region of SGT (University of Central Florida, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, University of Florida, Florida Institute of Technology, Georgia Institute of Technology and North Carolina State University).
