It is a top tool for leadership development because it focuses leaders, allowing them to achieve improved results while also allowing them to be more efficient in their work. We want to invest in adapting the real-world practices and approaches of executive leadership coaching to meet the needs of our student leaders while also preparing them for leadership positions once they graduate.\u003Cbr \/\u003E \u003Cbr \/\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003EWhat can a student expect?\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E In the 2015 Fall Semester each student will receive approximately 5-6 coaching sessions for FREE. These are individual coaching sessions that usually last one hour, are coordinated based on a mutually agreed upon day and time with your coach and are confidential. While each coaching engagement is unique and our coaching offerings are tailored to each student leader\u2019s needs, issues that are addressed through coaching often include the following:\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003EDefining and assessing the current situation\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ELeading teams, groups, and organizations\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EDeveloping effective strategies for working with people\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ESetting strategy by analyzing the situation and desired outcomes\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EDefining resources and how to most effectively create alignment among people\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EUnderstanding the student\u2019s strengths and how best to use them\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EUnderstanding the student\u2019s weaknesses and how to address them\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ETactical advice on day-to-day issues\u003C\/li\u003E\u003C\/ul\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EWhat are the benefits?\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E The benefits for taking advantage of our leadership coaching include: work with a personal leadership coach, challenge yourself to be a better leader and develop your leadership vision.
