Raychowdhury is an associate professor in the Georgia Tech School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) and is the first ECE faculty member to receive this honor.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ECRII is a new program under the Directorate for Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE) at NSF. It is aimed at supporting research for new faculty members within the first two years of their tenure-track position.\u0026nbsp;This two-year-long award will support Raychowdhury\u2019s research in the area of novel controls strategies for embedded DC-DC converters and voltage regulators targeted for low-power digital circuits.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ERaychowdhury has been a member of the ECE faculty since January 2013 where he leads the Integrated Circuits and Systems Research Lab. Prior to joining Tech, he was a research scientist at Intel for five years and graduated with his Ph.D. in ECE from Purdue University in 2007.
