(The term \u201cquit lit\u201d \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/twitter.com\/tressiemcphd\/status\/641574941041786880\u0022\u003Ehas also circulated\u003C\/a\u003E, but the \u201clit\u201d designator seems generous to me.) Working for a living is a pain... Nobody cares that I quit finance. Or advertising, retail, technology consulting, the entertainment industry, or anywhere else I\u2019ve worked. The trick with quitting is that you want people to throw a party for you when you do it. Quitpieces are the opposite of parties.
