  <title><![CDATA[Fealing Appointed to Two National Academies Committees]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.iac.gatech.edu/people/faculty/fealing">Kaye Husbands Fealing</a>, chair of the Ivan Allen College’s <a href="http://spp.gatech.edu/node">School of Public Policy</a>, has been appointed to two committees for the<a href="http://www.nationalacademies.org/"> National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine</a>.&nbsp;</p><p>During her appointment on the <strong>Committee on Developing Indicators for Undergraduate STEM Education</strong>, Fealing will identify objectives for improving undergraduate STEM education and outline a framework and set of indicators intended to document the status and quality of undergraduate STEM education at the national level over multiple years.</p><p>As a member of the <strong>Panel on Reengineering the Census Bureau’s Annual Economic Surveys</strong>, she will review the design, operations, and products of the U.S. Census Bureau’s suite of annual economic surveys of retail trade, manufacturers, wholesale trade, services, and other economic activities.</p>]]></body>
