The film lays bare the ravages of mortgage fraud--high vacancy rate, depressed property values and public safety issues--on this historic neighborhood, which is one of the most effected in the country. The film also provides a step-by-step guide to how a homeowner can proactively challenge a house’s elevated tax assessment, one of the most significant residual affects of fraud that homeowners encounter.

This showing will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers, Brent Brewer and Georgia Tech's Paulette Richards.
