The goal is to spotlight original exemplary pieces in a digital format as an illustration of some of our most robust, innovative, and cutting edge projects, public programs, and perspectives. They include:\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022Default\u0022\u003E-\u0026nbsp;\u003Cem\u003EHumanistic Perspectives \u003C\/em\u003E(Atlanta, Ivan Allen College\/School of Literature, Media, and Communication: \u003Cem\u003ELeading Edge Publications\u003C\/em\u003E: No. 1, 2014), a collection of essays edited by Richard Utz and all written by faculty in the School of Literature, Media, and Communication and others at Georgia Tech.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022Default\u0022\u003E-\u0026nbsp;\u003Cem\u003EMapping Place: Africa Beyond Africa \u003C\/em\u003E(Atlanta, Ivan Allen College: \u003Cem\u003ELeading Edge Publications\u003C\/em\u003E: No. 2, 2014), the catalog prepared for an exhibition curated by Yves Abrioux, Kenneth J. Knoespel, and Teri Williams at the Robert C. Williams Museum of Papermaking (winter - spring 2014). The exhibition was mounted in conjunction with \u003Cem\u003EKongo across the Waters\u003C\/em\u003E, an exhibition supported by Ivan Allen College at the Carter Center (spring - summer 2014). \u003Cem\u003EKongo across the Waters \u003C\/em\u003Ewas curated by the Royal Museum for Central Africa and the Samuel P. Harn Museum at the University of Florida.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022Default\u0022\u003E\u003Cem\u003E- Selected Proceedings from the International Conference: Africa beyond Africa: The Future of Cultural, Social and Scientific Research \u003C\/em\u003E(Atlanta: Ivan Allen College: \u003Cem\u003ELeading Edge Publications\u003C\/em\u003E, No. 3, 2016). The conference was held at Georgia Tech in May 2014. The collection includes essays by Johnnetta B. Cole, director of African Art, Smithsonian Institution; Guido Gryseels, Director General, Royal Museum for Central Africa; Tine Huyse, Department of Biology, Royal Museum for Central Africa; Evans Harrell, School of Mathematics, Georgia.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022Default\u0022\u003EUpon the recommendation of the Ivan Allen College Leadership Group (comprised of school chairs and assistant and associate deans of the college) and based on the review of the Dean, additional items that showcase innovation from the Ivan Allen College will be added to the series.
