498821 event 1455123339 1492118202 <![CDATA[3rd Annual Energy Expo]]> The student Energy Club Expo kicks off Thursday, March 3 with a short documentary screening, followed by a panel discussion on the Future of Natural Gas. The panel will be followed by an informal networking reception.

The  Energy Expo  conference begins Friday, March 4, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. in the  Student Center. Discussions include a keynote addresses Anya Cherneff, co-founder Executive Director of Empower Generation, and Jeff Roberts, Program Leader for Sustainable Energy Systems and Deputy Program Director for Energy at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. The Expo also features panel sessions on The Future of Natural Gas, Energy Start-Ups in the Southeast, Corporate Sustainability Initiatives, and Global and Domestic Energy Policies.

There will be networking coffee and lunch breaks as well. Guests are encouraged to stay after the official Expo concludes to enjoy a reception at 4:00 p.m. for informal networking plus view the Showcase posters, presentations, and domonstrations. Guests of the reception will be able to vote for the winner Showcase presenter, to be announced at the end of the reception.
