This fellowship will be a two-year appointment, and is open to those who have completed Master\u2019s or Ph.D. level training in public health, urban planning and\/or related fields.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EPrimary responsibilities of the program officer position include:\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003ELead at least one priority project during the term of the fellowship, on a topic to be jointly determined (for example, determining the most effective ways for the Kresge Health and Human Service teams to work at the intersection of their respective program areas);\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EAnalyze reports from grantees to identify key lessons that should be highlighted, shared and applied to our future strategies;\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EParticipate in place-based initiatives with other Kresge teams in Memphis, New Orleans and potentially other priority cities;\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EContribute to the development of the Health team\u2019s Strategic Learning and Evaluation infrastructure and practices;\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EConduct background research to support Health team strategy and program development, and keep abreast of new developments and published research in health policy, public health and related fields;\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EPrepare key materials for Kresge presentations and meetings, supported by relevant research;\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EProvide a preliminary review of incoming funding requests, including an assessment of their alignment with program strategies.\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EParticipate in travel co conferences, convenings and funded partners as needed.\u003C\/li\u003E\u003C\/ul\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EQualifications:\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003EEither a Master\u2019s or Ph.D. degree in public health, urban planning or a closely related field;
