Legislation passed in 2009 removed prior restrictions to research in the areas of breast, prostate, or ovarian cancer.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ESince the 2000 inception of\nthe State Income Tax Checkoff program, $2.75 million has been raised for cancer\nresearch, which is matched by each researcher\u2019s organization.
