As a part of Campus Services, the Center strives to instill a culture in which all Georgia Tech students and employees can flourish and be fulfilled individually and within our communities where we live, learn, work, and play.

“Our goal is to promote, nurture, and enrich a culture of health, well-being, and caring among the Georgia Tech community members,” stated Dr. Suzy Harrington, director of the Center. “There is lots of groundwork to be accomplished. But if we work together to achieve harmony in our personal and professional lives, we can over time impact personal, interpersonal, organizational, environmental, and policy levels of behavior change.”

Over the next year, the Center plans to begin addressing important topics such as mental health, sexual violence, and alcohol/drugs, for both students and employees. Go T.E.C.H. will be expanding to include action committees on these and other topics with the ultimate goal of effectively addressing these behaviors and shifting the focus to resiliency, confidence, and kindness.

To build the bridges need to effectively leverage Tech’s resources, Harrington aims to create a strong collaborative and comprehensive program platform that will include an interactive website, an advocate network, certified healthy awards, messaging campaigns and data analysis to steer the Center’s efforts.
