An AutoChem II 2920 Catalyst Characterization System has been awarded to the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia.\n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EAccording to Christopher Jones, Principal Investigator, \u0022The AutoChem II system will directly enable new research approaches in 21 projects covering four different research groups. The instrument will play a central role in my catalysis and adsorptive separation research program.\u0022 Dr. Jones is a primary member of the Strategic Energy Institute at Georgia Tech, where he directs a research effort in catalysis, adsorption, and materials synthesis.\n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EAccording to Preston Hendrix, Micromeritics\u0027 president, \u0022This program is designed to promote and advance the acquisition and use of particle characterization instrumentation not generally available through other means to non-profit universities and institutions. We are very proud and excited to present this award in an ongoing grant program to support important research.\u0022\n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EMicromeritics\u0027 Instrument Grant Program is intended to provide particle characterization instruments to non-profit universities and research organizations for the purpose of fostering and supporting meritorious research projects. A maximum of one instrument\/integrated system will be awarded per calendar quarter.
