Bourne, Jr. Chair in Poetry\u0026nbsp;in the School of Literature, Media, and Communication, Georgia Tech Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts, and the director of\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/poetry.gatech.edu\/\u0022\u003EPoetry@Tech\u003C\/a\u003E, a leading showcase for poetry for the Southeast.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EHe has been writing poetry for almost fifty years, in work ranging from the semi-autobiographical to quarrels with history. His most recent work,\u0026nbsp;\u003Cem\u003E\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/book\/show\/25897769-to-the-left-of-time\u0022\u003ETo the Left of Time\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/a\u003E \u003C\/em\u003E(Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, 2016), includes poems of celebration, gratitude, praise, elegies, and a few more quarrels.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EIn the past year, he has also published poems in The New Yorker, American Poetry Review, Poetry Magazine, Field, Five Points, Ploughshares, The Massachusetts Review, The North (UK), The Poetry Paper (UK), Cordite (Australia), The Cortland Review, and several others. Garrison Keillor\u0027s Writer\u0027s Almanac featured two poems by Lux in 2016. In the past year, he has been a featured poet at the Poets House Annual Brooklyn Bridge Walk, The Palm Beach Poetry Festival, Sarah Lawrence College Summer Seminar for Writers, LiTFUSE, Murphy Writing of Stockton University, UC Irvine, the Decatur Book Festival, and others.
