Intellectual property (IP) rights protect ideas, inventions, discoveries, symbols, images, expressive works, and other valuable products of the human mind that have an intangible existence. IP law generally covers copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and patents.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/span\u003E\u003Cspan\u003EYou do not have to be an engineer to have a career in IP.
