World AIDS Day is a national event created to help get the number of HIV diagnosis down to ZERO. World AIDS Day is held on the 1\u003Csup\u003Est\u003C\/sup\u003E of December each year and is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV and to commemorate people who have died. On World AIDS Day this gives us the chance to show solidarity to millions who are living with HIV.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EWearing a red ribbons shows support in a simple way. Over the last decade, the annual number of new HIV diagnoses has declined by 19% (CDC, 2014).
