They bring to 11 the total number of Leddy Family Scholars.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe Leddy Family Scholarship Fund supports awards to undergraduates in the College of Sciences. In addition to a high level of academic achievement,\u0026nbsp;scholarship recipients are expected to continue participation in experiential educational programs such as research, study abroad, living-learning community, service learning, outreach activities, and campus leadership. The fund is made possible by a generous donation by the family of School of Physics alumnus Jeffrey Leddy.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EFollowing are Leddy scholars selected in early November:\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cul\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EPeace Olaniran, a freshman biochemistry major from Clayton County, Georgia, who participates in the \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/smart.gatech.edu\/\u0022\u003ESMaRT Living Learning Community\u003C\/a\u003E and hopes to pursue a career in healthcare in Africa.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EJack Peters, a freshman physics major from Birmingham, Alabama, who cofounded a scholarship foundation at his high school, which raised $6,000 through a golf tournament.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003ESamuel Wiley, a sophomore physics major from Atlanta, Georgia, who sings with the \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/chamberchoir.gatech.edu\/\u0022\u003EGeorgia Tech Chamber Choir\u003C\/a\u003E and is a competitive bagpipe performer.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EStephanie Wyman, a sophomore biology major from Alpharetta, Georgia, who volunteers with \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.medshare.org\/\u0022\u003EMedShare\u003C\/a\u003E, a nonprofit group that distributes unused medical supplies to impoverished communities.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EMichael Zott, a sophomore chemistry major with a minor in physics from Ballwin, Missouri, who does undergraduate research with \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/vergil.chemistry.gatech.edu\/\u0022\u003EDavid Sherrill\u003C\/a\u003E analyzing electronic structure computational methods, in the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\u003C\/ul\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThese newly named scholars join six College of Sciences juniors and seniors who were selected to be Leddy Family Scholars in April:\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cul\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EMary Elizabeth Lee, a junior physics major from Atlanta, Georgia, who studies chaotic dynamics in the \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/chaos.gatech.edu\/\u0022\u003EComplex Heart Arrhythmias and Other Oscillating Systems\u003C\/a\u003E (CHAOS) lab with \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.physics.gatech.edu\/user\/flavio-fenton\u0022\u003EFlavio Fenton\u003C\/a\u003E,\u0026nbsp;in the School of Physics.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EAndrew Royappa, a junior chemistry major from Pensacola, Florida, who published three papers as a dual-enrollment student at the University of West Florida while still in high school.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EElizabeth (Lizzie) Stubbs, a junior psychology major with a minor in biology\u0026nbsp;from Suwanee, Georgia, who studies early social communication behaviors among typical and at risk-for-autism toddlers in the \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.childstudylab.gatech.edu\/\u0022\u003EGeorgia Tech Child Study Lab\u003C\/a\u003E.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003ERabeea Ahmad, a senior biochemistry major from Alpharetta, Georgia, who assists in orthotics research in the \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.ap.gatech.edu\/Kogler\/cbl\/\u0022\u003EClinical Biomechanics Lab of G\u0026eacute;za F.
