  <title><![CDATA[Present Your Research at the Phi Alpha Theta Conference]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>The Alpha Zeta Lambda chapter of Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society&nbsp;invites undergraduate and&nbsp;graduate students to submit abstracts on any historical topic for&nbsp;papers to be presented at the Annual Georgia Regional&nbsp;Conference held at Mercer University in Macon, GA on April&nbsp;1, 2017. The conference is open to all students of history. Phi&nbsp;Alpha Theta membership is not a requirement to present.</p>

<p>To&nbsp;apply, students should submit 150-word abstracts to their&nbsp;project advisor and/or Phi Alpha Theta advisor for preliminary&nbsp;approval.<strong> Submissions of abstracts due by Sunday, February 12, 2017 </strong>to&nbsp;Dr. Gerona (GT PAT Advisor).</p>

<p>Final papers should be 8 - 10 pages and students will make a 20 minute presentation at the conference. &nbsp;In order to be considered for prizes, you must be a member of Phi Alpha Theta. You do not need to be a member to submit your work.</p>
