About PWFI:
Founded in 2001 by Linda Wind, CEO of Wind Enterprises® Inc., and granted 501(c) (3) status Spring of 2002, the purpose of the foundation is to support the development of an academic scholarship program for high achieving women pursuing non-traditional degree programs at the college level. The vision of the Possible Woman® Foundation is that educational experiences, combined with strong mentoring, support and information resources, provide talented women with the opportunity to advance, professionally and personally, in today’s competitive environment. We believe that the scholarship along with the mentorship by women trailblazers in these industries provide a dynamic experience to help women succeed.

Since 2001 PWFI has raised and awarded over $1,000,000 for academic scholarships for women pursuing higher education. The PWFI Scholarship Program benefits from the counsel of a diverse Board of Directors comprised of committed, corporate executives and prominent professional women who are passionate about their mission, actively involved in the board, and continuing to mentor and support capable scholars who are attending colleges and universities in the greater Atlanta area.
