This is evident in the naming of Dr. Fox as the 2016 Gender Equity Champion for her work as a pioneer in gender in science studies. Her continued dedication to students is clear in her classes, her availability for consultation, and her ongoing research laboratory, where she employs and mentors undergraduate students.
