  <title><![CDATA[Kosal Curates Journal Issue Illuminating Issues around Chemical Warfare Use in Syria and the U.S. Response]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>With a goal of helping policy makers, policy shapers, and journalists understand the issues around&nbsp;chemical warfare use in Syria, and the United States&rsquo;&nbsp;response to that, Margaret Kosal, associate professor in the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs and the co-chief editor of&nbsp;the journal <em>Politics and the Life Sciences</em>&nbsp;curated a special virtual issue:&nbsp;<em>Chemical Weapons:&nbsp;Politics, Science, Diplomacy, and Emerging Issues and Challenges. </em></p>

<p>The issue includes a short primer written by Kosal addressing threats, attribution of responsibility, behavioral norms, and emerging threats and governance challenges.</p>
