  <title><![CDATA[Become a Language Assistance Volunteer with the Georgia Asylum and Immigration Network]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Georgia Asylum and Immigration Network (GAIN)</strong>&nbsp;is a nonprofit organization that provides free legal services in immigration matters to victims of crime and persecution. GAIN&#39;s 6,600+ clients come from 82 countries, speak 40 languages, and represent one of the largest under-served populations in Georgia.&nbsp;GAIN uses a model that combines recruitment, training, and mentorship of volunteer attorneys to ensure that immigrant victims have access to quality legal representation in their immigration matters.&nbsp;</p>

<p>GAIN is committed to ensuring all of its clients&nbsp;have&nbsp;<strong>meaningful access to language assistance</strong>.&nbsp;GAIN is consistently in&nbsp;need of interpretation and translation services for&nbsp;clients who are asylum seekers and victims of human trafficking, domestic violence, and sexual assault.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
As a<strong>&nbsp;language&nbsp;volunteer</strong>, you may be asked to translate documents including birth certificates, affidavits, letters of support or to assist with phone intakes, screenings and in-person attorney/client meetings in its downtown Atlanta office.&nbsp;</p>
