Huge Sheets of Ice Found Hidden Just Beneath the Surface of Mars

It's an established fact that Mars was once a warmer and wetter place, with liquid water covering much of its surface. Between 4.2 and 3.7 billion years ago, the planet lost its atmosphere, which caused most of its surface water to disappear. Ojha is now at Johns Hopkins University.
