Most recently he has covered neuroscience and the lives of animals in and out of scientific research.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EBefore joining the \u003Cem\u003ETimes\u003C\/em\u003E, Gorman wrote books on penguins, dinosaurs, the Southern Ocean, and hypochondria. His most recent book is \u0026ldquo;How to Build a Dinosaur\u0026rdquo; (published in 2009), written with the paleontologist Jack Horner.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EGorman also writes humor, which he has contributed to \u003Cem\u003EThe New Yorker\u003C\/em\u003E, \u003Cem\u003EThe Atlantic\u003C\/em\u003E,\u003Cem\u003EThe New York Times Magazine,\u003C\/em\u003E and other publications.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EGorman has taught science writing at New York University, Fordham University, and online in Stanford University\u0026rsquo;s Continuing Studies program.
