  <title><![CDATA[ICLAST Lunch: Middle Eastern and North African Studies (MENAS)]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>The Georgia Tech Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts&nbsp;invites you to the&nbsp;Innovation and Collaboration in Liberal Arts, Science, and Technology (ICLAST) Lunch: Middle Eastern and North African Studies (MENAS) on Tuesday, November&nbsp;13, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. &ndash; 12:30 p.m. in Stephen C. Hall Building, Room 102. Students will have the chance to converse about Georgia Tech opportunities in Morocco.</p>

<p>MENAS faculty will speak about a topic of pedagogic or research&nbsp;concern, for a broad audience,&nbsp;followed by some discussion, under the rubric&nbsp;<em>Teaching the Middle East in the United States: Problems and Opportunities</em>.</p>

<p>The ICLAST interdisciplinary research discussion series is designed to encourage research collaborations and to disseminate research to faculty, post-doctoral fellows, and masters and undergraduate students across the College and campus. Panelists from different Georgia Tech units present their research on a common topic linking the liberal arts, sciences, and technology.</p>

<p><em>ICLAST (Innovation and Collaboration in Liberal Arts, Science, and Technology) events are supported by a grant from GT-FIRE.</em></p>
