In order to help Georgia Tech PhD students achieve significant progress on their dissertations, the Communication Center is offering a Dissertation Writing Boot Camp (DBC). This writing Boot Camp--a week of intensive writing sessions designed to provide time, space, and resources for dissertation writing—will take place during the week of Dec. 10th – 14th in the Naugle CommLab (Clough 447). PhD students participating in the Boot Camp will be expected to write from 9 am until 4:30 pm each day.

During the Boot Camp, the CommLab specialists will be available for half-hour tutoring sessions, which will be used to help students overcome writing problems that are inhibiting their ability to progress. However, while they are offering tutoring, they will not be editing the students' work.

If you have any questions about the Dissertation Writing Boot Camp, please contact the Director, Dr. Brandy Ball Blake, at commlab@gatech.edu.
