<p><a href="https://biosci.gatech.edu/people/david-hu">David Hu</a> is at it again, this time diving deep into cat grooming &nbsp;Using videos captured by high-speed cameras (about 500 frames per second), he showed that cats have a four-phase grooming regimen aided by tiny keratin spikes on their tongues, called filiform papillae.</p>

<p>Hu is an associate professor in the Schools of Mechanical Engineering and&nbsp;of&nbsp;<a href="http://www.biosci.gatech.edu/">Biological Sciences</a>&nbsp;and an adjunct associate professor in the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.physics.gatech.edu/">School of Physics.</a></p>
