{"62386":{"#nid":"62386","#data":{"type":"profile","title":"Zhaohua Wang","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EWang received his Ph.D. from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1998.\u0026nbsp; As a visiting scholar, he joined the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Georgia Tech in 2001.\u0026nbsp;He joined\u0026nbsp;GIS center as a research engineer II in 2007 and was promoted to a senior research engineer in 2011.\u0026nbsp; During the past 10 years, he has been continuously conducting research and development in the fieds of\u0026nbsp;highway pavement management systems,\u0026nbsp;highway pavement condition assessment using sensor technology,\u0026nbsp;roadway asset inventory and management systems and\u0026nbsp;application of GIS\/GPS and Information Technology for pavement rehabilitation and design.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAs a result of the continuous research and development and in an effort of disseminating the research outcome, he has authored\/co-authored eight refereed journal papers and other 12 technical conference presentations.\u0026nbsp; As a project manager and leading developer, he has delivered 10 software products to sponsors and co-authored five research project final reports.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAs a PI\/Co-PI, he has actively managed\/led seven research projects with a total amount of $2 million, four of which are on-going projects.\u0026nbsp; As a task leader, he has significantly contributed in other eight research projects with a total amount of $3 million. \u0026nbsp;In fulfilling these research projects, he has supervised 12 Graduate Research Assistants (GRA).\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cem\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EEducational Background\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/em\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E1994-B.S.
