Dhanidina is an associate justice for the Second District of the California Court of Appeal, the first South Asian American to serve as an appellate justice in the State of California, and the first Muslim appellate level judge in the US. Lunch will be served at 12:30 PM, followed at 2:00 by the keynote and a panel of responses from religious and civic leaders in Georgia.

During lunch and the closing reception at 4:00, guests will view the exhibit "Refuge or Refusal: Turning Points in US Immigration History," from the Museum of History and Holocaust Education at Kennesaw State University.

The panelists include Rabbi Dr. Shlomo Pill of Emory University's School of Law,  Adina Langer of the Museum of History and Holocaust Education at Kennesaw State University, Kevin Sinha of Civic Georgia, and Nelly Wambui of Emory's Graduate Division of Religion.
