It provide participants with the vital information needed to recognize an emergency, activate emergency response, and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants. The use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is introduced as a vital component of the lifesaving intervention mission.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ENOTE: This class involves performing CPR on mannequins in a class room setting. It requires participants to kneel on the floor over the mannequin while performing chest compressions and giving breaths.
