  <title><![CDATA[Moon presents at 2019 M-Enabling Summit in Washington D.C.]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>Nathan Moon presents on accessible &lsquo;Smart Home&rsquo; Technologies at the 2019 M-Enabling Summit</p>

<p>CACP researcher Nathan W. Moon recently gave a presentation: &ldquo;Use of &lsquo;Smart Home&rsquo; Technologies by Individuals with Disabilities: Findings from Qualitative Research&rdquo; at the <a href="https://www.m-enabling.com">2019 M-Enabling Summit</a>, which took place in Washington, DC, on Monday, June 17, 2019. Nathan was part of a panel on &ldquo;IoT and Robots for Smart Homes,&rdquo; which included industry stakeholders. &nbsp;The presentation highlighted research findings from the Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center on Wireless Inclusive Technologies (Wireless RERC), which involved 11 focus groups on next-generation wireless devices. Both opportunities and facilitators, as well as barriers and limitations for smart homes were discusses, as well as other design considerations.&nbsp;</p>
