The\u0026nbsp;ONR coordinates, executes and promotes the science and technology programs of the US Navy and Marine Corps.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EONR Global welcomes researchers from academia and industry worldwide to form multinational and multidisciplinary\u0026nbsp;teams to collaborate and submit white papers and proposals\u0026nbsp;on revolutionary international research projects addressing the following challenge topics:\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cul\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003ETailored material and manufacturing\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EMultifunctional maritime films for persistent and survivable platforms and warfighters\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EObject detection and identification in any medium (air, water, sand, earth)\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\u003C\/ul\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026ldquo;The objective of Global-X is to accelerate revolutionary research, bridging the gap between the science community\u0026rsquo;s academic work and warfighter needs,\u0026rdquo; said ONR Global Executive Officer Capt. Matt Farr. \u0026ldquo;Implementing a multinational team challenge will enable ONR Global to engage the world\u0026rsquo;s best researchers to create and demonstrate new capabilities that have never been done before.
